It’s always a pleasure to work with a couple who want to bring cherished memories into the wedding flower planning and creative process. Jenna and Jeff’s wedding was all about their love and the people who strengthen and support them. From the wedding location, the beautiful northern California wedding venue, Ironstone Vineyards to the tiniest design details, the day was a perfect expression of Jenna and Jeff’s love story.
The couple choose to wed at the Ironstone Vineyards located in California’s Sierra Foothills. Both of their families have cabins in the area, so the location was both familiar and reminiscent of time spent with loved ones.
The palette for the occasion was decidedly soft and romantic with a touch of cherry red to keep it exciting.
Because of the impressive natural beauty of Ironstone Vineyards, the ceremony’s floral touches had quite the backdrop.
The bride’s bouquet was an armful of garden roses, spray roses, peonies, prunus foliage, eucalyptus, and trailing jasmine. The look was if plucked from the gardens of the surrounding California vineyards.
This vintage suitcase belongs to the bride’s grandmother, and the escort cards feature cities that Jenna and Jeff have travelled to together. This is a perfect example of how to add a personal touch to your wedding. Not all flowers have to be in traditional vases!
The centerpieces were a continuation of the romantic palette with foxglove and queen annes lace anchoring the summery feel.
The wedding flowers for Jenna and Jeff turned out so romantic and a perfect reflection of the as a couple. Everyone at Flourish was thrilled to be a part of the big day!
