It is just a couple of days into September and I am already longing for fall. I can’t help myself! Fall flowers are some of my favorite flowers. Fall is all about texture. The leaves have beautiful veining and coloration. The colors of the flowers have deepened and been toned with shades of taupe and beige. Grasses, pods and hips are all part of the offerings at the flower market. All of nature seems to be putting on one last show before it settles down into a long winter’s nap.
The bouquet above is simple but modern with its use of shape and texture. Sahara roses, perfectly seeded eucalyptus, Blushing Bride protea, and a softly glimmering ribbon is all that is needed to make a statement. Photo by Sarah Maren Photography for Real Weddings Magazine.
