The first step to the wedding flowers of your dreams is booking a consultation with Flourish.
1. Call or e-mail us to set-up an appointment for your initial consultation. (916) 452-3200. Expect the initial consultation to take approximately 1.5 hours. Please note that Flourish has a 1500.00 per event minimum.
2. Our office is at 1913 Capitol Avenue Suite B Sacramento, CA 95811. Click here for a map.The office is located in a Victorian building on the ground floor. Look for the brass sign that says "The Wedding Room". We are next door to Jack's Urban Eats Restaurant.
3. Please fill out and submit our pre-consultation questionnaire. Filling out this form out will help us define your wedding floral needs.
4. Please bring the following items with you to the consultation:
*Pictures of flowers and floral designs that inspire you. You can find floral pictures in magazines, on the Internet or in books. If you come across pictures of flowers or floral designs that you do not like bring those pictures as well.
*Bring pictures of the bride’s dress and the attendant’s dresses.
*Swatches of the colors you are working with to build your wedding’s theme are very helpful.
*Bring a list of people you will need to supply with corsages and boutonnieres.
*Bring another person that knows the style and look of your wedding. A supportive fiancé, friend or family member can be very valuable in the decision making process.
5. We will e-mail an itemized description of your floral choices and a detailed quote of your floral costs within two business days.
Because we book a maximum of two weddings per weekend, our calendar fills very quickly. For that reason, we request a 30% deposit to hold your date no more than five days after the presentation of your wedding flower proposal. All dates are reserved on a first come first booked basis.
Four weeks before the wedding a follow-up consultation can be scheduled. Any adjustments to the proposal will be discussed. The delivery time line will be finalized. Final payment on the floral balance is due at this time.
