Caitlyn’s Mom called me a little more than a month before her daughter’s wedding date to see if I was booked. I had just had a cancellation, so the date was clear on my calendar. It was meant to be! Turns out Caitlyn and Josh had to move their wedding date up because he was being deployed. The wedding plans kicked in to high gear and Flourish was thrilled to be part of their wonderful day.
Caitlyn wanted a pastel bright bouquet that felt romantic and spring-like.
Her bouquet featured white peonies, Juliet garden roses, Pacific Blue roses, peach stock, white hydrangea and a swirl of passion vine.
A little unique twist to the boutonnieres was to incorporate lavender and to leave the stems exposed rather than wrapping them.
The bridesmaids’ bouquets were a little bit of wild springtime. All sorts of seasonal textures went into the bouquets. Roses, passion vine, dusty miller, hypericum berries, lavender, sweet peas and stock all clustered together to make some pretty statement bouquets.
Their ceremony took place in the downstairs ballroom at The Citizen Hotel in Sacramento, Ca. Flourish is honored to be included on the preferred wedding professionals list at The Citizen Hotel.
The wedding ceremony was romantic, intimate and a perfect reflection of Caitlyn and Josh.
After the cocktail hour at The Scandal Lounge, guests were invited upstairs to the Terrace Ballroom.
We were able to repurpose the ceremony flowers into reception decor on the cake table and escort card table.
The ceremony arrangements were moved to flank the sweet heart table.
Thank you so much to Elisabeth Arin Photography for the beautiful images!
Congratulations to Caitlyn and Josh on your beautiful wedding. We wish you a wonderful life together.
