Blue

Blue is the rarest color for flowers. Not many plants and flower sport this heavenly hue. Gardeners have prized this color over all others for centuries. Even with all of the advances in science the blue rose eludes plant geneticists to this day.
Pair a light powdery blue with a host of soft pastel pinks, yellows, lavenders and green for the ultimate is springtime splendor. Deep, dark blue becomes mysterious when coupled with purple and burgundy.
My favs: hydrangea, hybrid delphinium, belladonna, monkshood, scabiosa, agapanthus, forget me nots, love in the mist
