White done right

I loved this wedding Grand Island Mansion! It is white done right.
When working with white flowers it is so important that you use shades of white and accent the designs with greenery. Why? Well grasshopper, so your carefully chosen blooms do not look like white blobs in the photos. Never a good look.
When my bride came to me she had a wonderful vision of florals that would blend and accent the antique decor at Grand Island Mansion.
We chose a soft palette of white, ivory, champagne and cream offset by deep green. Fabulous!

Multi-colored bridal bouquets

I love a bride who is not afraid to carry a riot of color down the aisle.

Theresa's and Linda's bridal bouquets

Two more weddings this past weekend!

Saturday started out soggy for our cute bride, Theresa but it cleared up into a perfect day. Here is her classic bridal bouquet:

Roses, delphinium and callas perfectly suited the bride.

Sunday's weather was as sunny and warm as our bride, Linda. Linda and her mother, Susan were a delight to work with. Here is Linda's creation:

Congratulations to our happy couples!

One Saturday, Two Weddings

This past weekend we were at The Sheraton and The Vizcaya. The two weddings were very different but totally amazing in their own way.

Theresa and Daniel had their wedding at Sacred Heart with the reception following at The Sheraton Grand Hotel. Thanks to Rachelle from Rachelle Photography for the rockin' images!

Gabby and Devin had their event at The Vizcaya. I loved the interesting flowers and colors. Plus- cupcakes! Yummy!

True Love Photo

I have been lucky to work with Beth from True Love Photo several times this year. Beth is not only a talented photographer she is a fabulous person and one of my best friends. Enjoy a few images from weddings and projects Beth and I worked on together in the recent past.

Isn't she amazing? One of the many things I respect about Beth is her commitment to her clients. She wants every single one of her clients to have an amazing wedding day and the images to show for it. Also, Beth is a blast to be around. She is always ready to make an obscure reference to an 80's movie to bring a smile to her subject's faces.

To be further amazed by Beth's handiwork check out the slide show from one of our recent weddings:

The first fall wedding of the season!

Adrienne and Shane were married at Wine and Roses in Lodi, Ca. this past Saturday. It was the first wedding of the season using fall colors and textures. Everything turned out so beautifully!

I love how the centerpieces turned out. The room had a very upscale look.

BTW- check out Wine and Roses' new chairs! They are very chic looking. Is it weird that I am this excitied about ballroom chairs?

Last but never least, the happy couple!

Congratulations!
