Shannon Cosgrove-Rivas, owner and head designer of Flourish, has been designing in flowers for 22 years (yes, she started arranging flowers when she was four years old). She has been featured on KOVR Channel 13 News, KCRA Channel 3 News and Comcast on Demand speaking about flowers and floral design. Shannon’s floral designs have also been featured in The Sacramento Bee, Sacramento Magazine, Sacramento News and Review, Flowers &, Florist Review, Our Wedding, Real Weddings and The Knot Wedding Magazine as well as several wedding blogs.
Shannon is a Certified California Florist. She is also a member of Association for Wedding Professionals, Master Florists Association and California State Floral Association and is just plain awesome.
I am an expert at:
designing amazing wedding flowers… making babies laugh…decorating our house for my favorite holiday, Halloween…making my brides feel special…throwing parties for my family and friends…making chicken and dumplings (ask nice and I might share my secret recipe).
I have just enough knowledge to be dangerous in:
arts and crafts in any and all forms…the kitchen…blogging.
I wish I did less:
playing Plants vs. Zombies…crying while watching movies…looking for my keys/iphone/purse.
