I am a card carrying member of the Jeanette fan club. She was a dream bride and so easy on the eyes too! Thanks to Allison Stahl- Super cute Sacramento Wedding Photographer for sending me these pictures of Jeanette and Nathan’s wedding flowers.

I label all the Personal flowers so there is no confusion. I guess the maid-of-honor liked her tag and kept it on her bouquet.

Super sweet flower girl pomander of orchids and roses.

We made flower rings for the wedding day helpers. So much more fun than a traditional corsage- don’t you think?

Purple and red bridal bouquet? Yes, and it is such a pretty color combination for wedding flowers.

The altar arrangement was moved to the head table at the reception. Double the pleasure- double the fun!
Congratulations to Nathan and Jeanette!
By now, everyone knows about the impeding royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton at the end of April. There has been a lot of speculation regarding the wedding gown Kate will choose for her trip down the aisle. But, so far as I can tell, no one have speculated about the royal bridal bouquet Kate will carry.
Taking in consideration traditions, season, formality of the event, personality of the bride and what is currently in vogue for wedding flowers, I made some sketches of possible bridal bouquets fit for a queen.
Here are my contenders:

The first bouquet is a very formal cascading bridal bouquet with a fresh twist. Using the more traditional choice of white phalaenopsis orchids to form the cascade of the bouquet I gave it a twist by adding buttercream yellow French tulips to the drape as well. The base of light blue hydrangea is a nod to the blue of Kate’s engagement ring. English garden roses in a creamy blush, English ivy and hydrangeas add a bit of the English country side to the ensemble.

The second bouquet is a less formal hand tied bridal bouquet featuring blue hydrangeas, lily of valley, delicate English ivy and creamy blush English garden roses. Lily of the valley is a flower traditionally carried in royal weddings.

Which bouquet would you choose for Kate to carry down the aisle?
